Paul & Faye by John Ross

+ Love amongst the Lavender

Faye and Paul had only just arrived back in New Zealand to be married only a few days before. So naturally things were all go on the day. They both took it in their stride as we treked across mustard and lavendar feilds in search of perfect shot.

To top it off, Paul let us in on how he proposed... Beneath the milky way, in the middle of the lavender feild, with a simple ring made from the stalk of a lavender. Talk about romantic!

Matt & Jaimee by John Ross

+ Down to every last detail

It's always a welcome gesture when the couple put together a programme for the day. Even more so when every last detail is listed out, contingency allowance included! As they say, 'Plan the work, work the plan', Matt and Jaimee did just that and more. The day couldn't have been more perfect.

Set amongst the Fig groves we get to see a very special first look, where time literally stood still. Matt's brand new watch stopped and didn't start again until after the ceremony. Check it out for yourself!

Mark & Jade by John Ross

+ UK meets NZ...

After travelling the globe, Jade & Mark decided to head to Marks native home of Christchurch to tie the knot. Meaning a huge contigent from the UK made their way over for what could only turn out to be an epic occasion.

With an extra special blessing from the in-house celebrant ;) the day ended with party like no other. Complete with GoPro guest selfies!

Dan & Christina by John Ross

+ A bit of Southland weather wasn't going to effect the day she had always dreamed of...

After an early morning and a 7 hour drive we finally made it down the infamous Catlins. The weather did not disappoint. A hefty gale was blowing through and rain threatened to derail plans of an outdoor wedding. Guest were being ushered inside. Only moments before the ceremony, Christina put the foot down. A bit of Southland weather wasn't going to effect the day she had always dreamed of.

Of course after a small shower there was a gap in the clouds just as the ceremony took place... and as usual, once the ceremony was done and dusted, the wind and rain came in full force, and made for an excellent afternoon inside!
